Additional Information :

• First I console the parents and discuss with them about the disease • If there is any BPL (Below poverty line) card or any other card issued to them by state government for available poor free concession and services • I ask parents about their profession and inform them about the expected cost of treatment which depends on the stage of disease • Personally arrange appointments with the doctors for getting CT/MRI, USG B-scan. • Guide the parents to various departments as being in a multi specialty institute various investigations are done in different rooms/buildings. • Convey proper message of doctor and make the situation clear to the parents about the stage of disease and the proposed treatment because of my good hold on regional languages like English, Hindi, Punjabi, Haryanvi etc. • My aim in this project is to prevent the disease progress by ensuring frequent follow ups and tracing the defaulters or lost to follow up parents.
